ABOUT · EDITORIAL PUBLISHER · CHELTENHAM

A quarterly magazine about UK sports bookmakers.

Whitecosble Press Ltd publishes The Whitecosble Quarterly from Montpellier Walk in Cheltenham. Five named editors. Four seasonal issues. One reviewing standard.

We cover twenty-two UK-licensed sportsbooks across eight disciplines — Football, Horse Racing, Cricket, Tennis, Rugby, Formula 1, Snooker and Golf — with flagship editorial weight on National Hunt racing, as befits our geography. Each review is scored on a fourteen-metric measured scorecard and assigned to one of five tiers: Standout · Strong · Capable · Trailing · Not recommended. The tier is an editorial verdict, not an automated roll-up of numbers.

We are not a bookmaker. Whitecosble Press Ltd holds no UK Gambling Commission operating licence, accepts no bets, and holds no customer funds. We direct readers to UKGC-licensed operators; each licence number is published inline on the review and re-verified against the UKGC public register quarterly.

WHO WE ARE

The Whitecosble Quarterly was founded in Cheltenham in September 2022. We are an editorial publisher — we do not accept bets, we do not hold customer funds, and we do not hold a UK Gambling Commission operating licence. We are a magazine about a regulated market, and we cover the operators in that market by opening real accounts, depositing real money, measuring real withdrawals, and writing about what we observed.

Our editorial standard is built around three things: named bylines, a documented methodology, and a commercial firewall that separates the editorial desk from any affiliate conversation. Tiers are locked before commercial negotiations start. Operators see tiers and reviews when readers see them.

We publish four times a year — Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter — plus long-form dispatches between issues and a small library of plain-English guides. We cover twenty-two UK-licensed sportsbooks across eight disciplines, with Cheltenham-resident Edmund Hawkins leading on the National Hunt.

THE TEAM

Five editors. No headshots.

Editorial credit is a name and role, not a face — consistent with our no-imagery editorial convention.
